2013 NCAA Div I Men’s Ice Hockey West Regional

The NCAA has announced that Grand Rapids will officially be the host city for the 2013 Division I Men’s Ice Hockey West Regional. Two-day passes are available now to this great event for hockey fans of all ages across the country, which will be held at Van Andel Arena on March 29-30.

Prices for two-day passes are $60 until the new year when they will be raised to $65 starting January 1st. Single day passes are not currently available and will go on sale at a later date. Passes can be purchased at the Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place box offices, Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.

Groups of 10 or more receive $5 off each two-day pass.  For group tickets, call 616-742-6185, e-mail groupsales@smggr.com or order on-line at vanandelarena.com/groupsales.

The University of Michigan will play host to this site. However, this does not guarantee that Michigan will be selected to compete at the West Regional in Grand Rapids. Should Michigan be eligible to compete in the championship tournament, they must be selected for this region. Teams competing in the West Regional will be announced on Selection Sunday the week of the Regional.

The winner of the West Regional will advance to the 2013 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four, taking place April 11 & 13 at Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center.
