The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the 2023 NBA Champions the Denver Nuggets, have announced their full 2023-24 season schedule. The Gold will start their season at home on Sunday, November 12 at 7 p.m. ET to take on their in-state rival, the Motor City Cruise.
“Coming off our first season at Van Andel Arena we are eager to get back in front of our fans,” said Steve Jbara, president of the Grand Rapids Gold. “We want to build off the momentum we had last year and are thrilled that we are able to kick off our season at home with the best fans in the league.”
The Gold will play 13 of its 24-home games on the weekend, with 13 different opponents set to play at Van Andel Arena this season.
The 2023-24 NBA G League season will be split between the Showcase Cup and Regular Season. All NBA G League teams' records will reset on December 27 with the start of the 34-game regular season to follow. The Winter Showcase will feature a single-game elimination tournament for all 31 G League teams.
The Gold’s promotional schedule will be released at a later date detailing theme nights, promotional nights, and giveaways for the 2023-24 season.
