Van Andel Arena and In The Image are partnering for National Dollar Day on Thursday, August 8 to offer the community the opportunity to donate $1 to In The Image for a ticket to see Martin Lawrence at Van Andel Arena on August 31.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of 4 tickets per person, while supplies last. The donation must be made in person on August 8 between 10AM – 3PM at In The Image, located at 4255 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. Tickets will be transferred electronically, and all donations will benefit In The Image.

Today, In The Image serves thousands of individuals and families by meeting basic needs - clothing, shoes, pots, pans, dressers, coats, toys, books, hygiene items, etc. - all at no cost. Only new and gently used items are offered in the Free Store. Their team members and volunteers work diligently to process incoming items and prepare them for shoppers. The Free Store allows for those in need to shop without judgment or the requirement to divulge the details of the difficult situation in which they've found themselves. They offer the best they can to shoppers, and this is all made possible by their community of volunteers and donors who continue to make their Programs a success.
