PBR (Professional Bull Riders) today announced its 2025 competition schedule for the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour, set to bring some of bull riding’s preeminent talents to Grand Rapids, MI at
Van Andel Arena with synchronized events on January 24 and 25, 2025. Tickets go on sale Thursday, October 10 at 10AM at
VanAndelArena.com. The 2025 schedule announcement follows a historic 2024 campaign for the organization’s expansion series, as the PBR Velocity Tour broke and reset numerous attendance and competition records en-route to its most successful season to date. In 2024, the Velocity Tour hosted more than 356,000 fans, setting 16 event attendance records, while selling out 20 event days.
On the dirt, Grayson Cole (New Ringgold, Pennsylvania) delivered a clutch ride on the final day of the campaign in Corpus Christi, Texas, to be crowned the 2024 PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Champion. Cole’s Velocity Tour Finals-best, 89.25-point ride atop Pearl Snap (Lonnie & Amy Austin) earned him the coveted title and accompanying $50,000 as he finished a slim 40.5 points ahead of No. 2 Ederson Santos (Ilha Solteira, Brazil) who he trailed entering the event.
